Collette Dinnigan on the move

Not only is Collette Dinnigan moving back around the corner to her Underwood Street home that she bought a few years ago, but she's also moving her headquarters according to the Sunday Telegraph.
For all the years I worked in her Paddington Boutique, I always thought a stronger focus on her bridal collection would put the Australian brand in good stead for the years ahead. Her ready-to-wear was hitting the skids when it came to reinventing new ideas, and in an attempt to generate interest, lots its focus a little along the way. Her bridal, however, was always a stunning combination of true Dinnigan style and a fresh and modern approach to classically stunning bridal wear.
Considering the current economic climate, many Australian designers have had to take a new and creative approach to generating sales. If Dinnigan is Australia's original luxury designer, her tradition and values weren't necessarily coming through except for her bridal development, and now, with a shift to focus more heavily on these thrice yearly collections, her new Woollahra boutique will house it nicely.
