Abbey Lee Kershaw, known in the industry simply as Abbey Lee, is the 22 year old Australian model from Melbourne taking the Spring Summer 10 shows by storm. Her stellar turn on no less than 32 runways (and we're only up to Milan Fashion Week) for some of the biggest names in fashion, has shown her diversity and grace on the world stage.
It's exciting to watch a career like hers develop from humble work here in Australia, to exclusive contracts internationally. Creative directors at Gucci believed her to be such an iconic success that they booked her exclusively for their AW08 show, and she couldn't walk for any other design house during Milan Fashion Week at the time.
Fresh Australian spirit is in full strength overseas at the moment, with Abbey Lee joining Myf Shepherd, Alice Burdeu, and Catherine McNeil at the international shows. They're taking the global fashion industry proudly in their stride, and we're behind them every step of the way.
