Birkenhead Point | NSW

Birkenhead Point is back, bigger and better than ever. Although many store fronts are still waiting for loving shopkeepers to set up shop, the likes of Hugo Boss, Levi's (with 50% off all marked prices at the moment) and Witchery/WitcheryMan make it a more appealing place to visit than ever before. The high, half cylindrical ceiling lets in loads of light, and there's now three levels to navigate. It has a much more open feel to it, and the rainy days are no longer an issue with total cover. The view of the water at the end still gives this outlet shopping venue a feel of all things nautical, Cafe Birkenhead hasn't changed and neither has Clippers Cafe downstairs. If excited about nothing else, Bed Bath and Table provides domestic bliss and the discounted prices are worth the effort. It's exciting to think of the potential this place has to offer on full completion, and I think by the end of summer, it will have re-established itself in Sydney's inner west as a destination worth visiting. Hello Sailor.
