When style meets grace, it's often breathtaking. And breathtaking it was for Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams at the Venice film festival. It's hard to choose who takes the cake here, there are so many factors contributing to these gorgeous gowns.
Portman's whole ensemble works from head to toe, with her hair, makeup and outfit fitting the bill perfectly. Red is her colour, and it's such a fresh and fashion forward design that her personality and the gown are matched perfectly.
Williams has also found her perfect fit in this Jason Wu style, just the right amount of retro glamour to pull it all together. The sleeves are elegant and she exudes confidence from the quieter colour choice.
The Venice film festival has a surmounting Oscar buzz and with these two leading ladies paving the way forward, the best may still be yet to come.
