The growing appreciation for Australian designers is exciting and pushes the creative envelope for designerly possibilities. The competition is tough and the customers even tougher. To have a support network of celebrities embracing the 'new and fresh' styles that the Australian brands offer is invaluable.
We've just wrapped another fashion week and no doubt a wave of enthusiasm for the new season will trickle through the ranks. Retail hasn't been all that strong of late for many struggling stores. There's light at the end of the tunnel and it's a time when creativity must be on its game to ensure success.
