Silk is cooling things right down in the northern hemisphere with jumpsuits, dresses and shifts all taking stunning turns in a variety of regal hues.

Drew Barrymore does much the same. Her cool grace is perfectly comfortable in this relaxed shift, and given the bright opposing colours, she's making a bold statement in a fabric that couldn't hurt a fly. There's a richness to the texture that lets the colours pop.
I'm abandoning all judgment when I include Pamela Anderson in this list. For once, she's dressing age appropriately, and the colour works incredibly well on her skin tone. There's a softness at play considering she's opted for a silk outfit rather than a heavier or more revealing alternative.
The overall effect speaks for itself. Silk is the go to fabric of choice when it comes to comfort, ease and most importantly, style.
