Sometimes something is scary, and sometimes something is beautiful. Veteran Australian model, Emma Balfour being one of them. As she ages gracefully, in these shots her beauty is captured perfectly. She appears soft, relaxed and enigmatic, reflecting exactly what the Jac & Jack mood is. But her 'fierce' glare on the catwalks of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week to me, left an after-taste of complete attitude. She's supposed to exude this and I'm not criticizing her for that. There's just a huge difference between her and the other models. She brought the press in though, that was the point of employing her, and we'll see what designers come up with next time to navigate the publicity wheel.
