Captured off the runway
For those of you who don't know, the sartorialist has been snapping the most fashion forward looks off the runway for years, and now he's got a little competition. The sartorialist follows the seasonal shows and takes inspiration from the guests waiting to go into the shows, or the chic and savvy locals who happen to catch his eye.
Tommy Ton has appeared on style.com with his own street style scenes and a few of these images I've selected are like works of art (to me anyway), but it's all open to your own interpretation.
1) Shoes, shoes, shoes... they're engineering masterpieces. I have nothing more to say.
2) She's fluid and graceful, doing nothing more than sitting on steps.
3) This look is pulled together by the jacket and neutral shoes, a simple style portrayed effortlessly and with the ability to be transitional in the Australian climate. Her confidence is addictive and she know's that she hasn't put a foot wrong.
4) How such an artistic bag can work in an everyday situation is proven right here. We're not appreciating practicality, but the true craftsmanship and creativity that fashion is all about.
