Viktor & Rolf SS10
There's a giant thunderstorm outside so it's the perfect opportunity to share the innovation of the Viktor & Rolf SS10 collection with you. Day three in Paris and Viktor & Rolf have set the creative bar even higher than their last collection. I'm going to call it bon bon tuxedo, as there are references to the tuxedo under all the lolly pleated tulle so masterfully crafted over the base shells of the garments.
How they've managed to balance the pleated tulle so elegantly over shoulders or in full gowns, considering what it would weigh, truly leaves me in awe of their creative genius. This is what fashion should be about; Viktor & Rolf have shown structurally complicated designs that fit the body well and the use of colour mixed back with black trims and accents leaves the overall mood of the collection feeling fun and intriguing.
