From Aquascutum to Bally

Pro:
Bally is widely available in Australia, Aquascutum not so much.
Con:
Aquascutum's AW10 collection by far the stand out of the shows in my opinion.
Pro:
Bally's face is my favourite model, Christy Turlington.
Con:
Brian Atwood left and he's left some very big shoes to fill.
When things get confusing, the old Pro's and Con's list is supposed to provide some clarity isn't it? That's the first one I've ever done, and it's all because I'm torn on how to feel about the fact that the Aquascutum boys are set to take over as designers at Bally. It's great news for Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler, as it means they will have a far greater audience. But the aesthetic of Bally is somewhat slightly different to that of Aquascutum and I fear that they'll have too many big objectives to fulfill and less creative reign. Silver lining? Just have to stock up on their final collection when it hits stores in July/August. It's a hard life.
