Paris AW10 | Day Eight

All thing's considered, Marc Jabobs for Louis Vuitton hit the nail on the head when his cover line read 'And God Created Woman'. It was the order for the day and Miuccia Prada, Jean Paul Gaultier and Elie Saab all followed suit so to speak.
Elle MacPherson, Laetitia Casta, Allessandra Ambrosio and Karolina Kurkova all exuded feminine glamour at Louis Vuitton with busts and waists defined, hemlines grazing their calves. I told you Mad Men was on the money. It's trend that's here to stay.
Miu Miu is also taking a youthful spin on the womanliness that was instigated at Prada. Ladylike hem details and just enough lace and jewels to generate racing hearts secures this label in a genre claimed all to its own.
Jean Paul Gaultier gave us an undeniably feminine Hermes collection inspired completely by menswear. It gave the models confidence to hold their top hat beheaded heads high, and couldn't have been more glamorous if he tried.
So place your trust in Elie Saab to bring it home with a collection that included every single piece to lust after. All considerably darker than his couture collection, these pieces will stand the test of time, classic elegance bought to life.
