Bottega Venetta Menswear AW2010

Rockabilly Duck's Ass hairstyles were in full swing at the Bottega Venetta AW2010 Menswear show over the weekend. Elvis' influence and the era that spawned a rock & roll movement meant that Bottega Venetta's hems were shortened to show off white socks, and jackets even came out in devore patterns for fun. Devore is a technique used to burn patterns into velvet fabric, leaving, most commonly, a floral pattern underneath. This capsule collection just goes to show the great significance of the decades prior, and how they can be reinterpreted to relate to todays dress standards. Runway shows are styled to within a millimeter of their inception, and whilst all the details come together in the 'looks' presented, once on the hanger in the boutique or departments store, you can choose just one element to wear with whatever else you have in your wardrobe to make it more comfortable for you.
Love Me Tender.
