It's true to say that there's no one style defining the era, am I right? Unlike the 20's, 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's, there's not really one part of our trends to immediately link to the here and now. I know the skinny jean is a huge trend of the late naughties, but we're in the 10's now and I'm intrigued to see what's to come. I'm particularly eager to see what will become of the humble jean. Over the weekend, celebrities like Penelope Cruz, Kate Moss, Sarah-Jessica Parker and Jessica Alba stepped out in their take on denim. And they're all completely different. We've got high-waisted wide leg, drainpipe thin leg, whitewash and cut-offs, take your pick. Does it feel like this for anyone when they go shopping for their new denim? There are so many cuts to choose from, when you find a diamond in the rough it's a magical moment. Personally out of all the looks, I'm loving Penelope Cruz's best. She looks relaxed, her jeans suit her body shape impeccably and with the little white cropped jacket, she's ready to go anywhere. Multi-purpose outfits, can't beat 'em.
