The Good and Bad Of It

When bad things happen to good people, it's safe to say society takes notice. If we're watching closely enough, and let's face it; we live in a time when we've never been looking closer even when we don't want to be, it's in our faces anyway. Take all the scandals of the last year for example, and although you may not want to know the gory details of all the indiscretions, the media somehow classifies it as 'news' and Bob's your uncle, it's making prime-time bulletins everywhere.
Case in Point, it's Friday and I'm giving you some of my favourite photo's from the week just gone. Rachel McAdams has been hitting the style stakes out of the ball park attending Sherlock Holmes premiers in Europe. Sea green Alberta Ferretti and nude Vionnet, draped divinely to enhance every millimeter of her well toned figure, McAdams proves she's the queen of character building. This very talented lady changes styles like no other and shows how fun, fashion and fantasy develop a recipe for success.
It's not all good news, however. Bad, bad surgical things have happened to these next two very good people. What are their doctors thinking? Rebecca Romjin launched a new 'GOT MILK?' campaign with the help of her cute one-year-old twins this week but what ever the milk is hiding, that surely can't be her real upper lip. Standing next to it, she resembles Jennifer Coolidge and at any moment could pop out a little bend and snap if we're not careful. She's got the tight short skirt to prove it.
And Jessica Simpson, where has your face and natural bust gone? I can't believe someone so young could look quite like this, step away from the scalpel and move on. Yikes.
So bringing the week to a close on a much brighter note, I have two words. Hugh Jackman. Actually, make that three words: Hugh Jackman, Brazil. Full Stop. I have no words.
